The best individual places we made on the final day of the first Act of the Extreme Sailing Series in Muscat. With the individual ranks 3-5-5-8-10-3-9 we could lie down again a significant increase and it was not far, as had also struck one of the favorites from Oman.

Much better for us had actually cannot start with the new global Extreme Sailing Series and the first Act in Oman. Plenty of sunshine. Wind perfectly. Exciting races. Action nonstop. Live TV and a passionate audience. The images (video and photos) speak for themselves. Never in a dream we would have thought that the sailing conditions here are so good. Actually, the perfect training spot if we had more time.

And that's what we have lacked. And the others are miles ahead. We are a "last minute project” and are glad we did it with our partners at all at the start. And a few brilliant moments, we could indeed set already. We are quite proud of the many good individual seats.

Finally, we also went better upwind speed, after we have adjusted the mainsail to the mast again. In very small steps we've taken forward through the series and experienced an increase. So far at the end of the midfield was not removed with some top teams. In some races, we have also Alinghi, Artemis, Luna Rossa and other top teams beaten. Just as we have dreamed it to us.

Today you were the light winds prevailing and the races were put back once extreme short. A race took just 10 minutes. But those minutes have been enough that the pulse was at 180. Virtually every minute, the maneuvers are strung together. And in such an Extreme 40 multihull are tons of loads on the sheets through the high speed.

Now we are totally flat. Battery empty. Nothing works anymore. We gave everything and had great days here in Oman. The ship is currently being dismantled and then shipped to Qingdao, China, where in mid-April, the next event takes place.

We look forward as a team very much, that we have ever done at the start. Thanks to our partners Wirsol Solar AG, Yingli Solar, and PowerOne, OC and Marinepool we could start in this exciting series.
