Omega Auckland Match Racing: Update #5 on Day 3

Omega Auckland Match Racing

Ben Ainslie (GBR) has guaranteed his place in the semi-finals.

The wind died and became very fluky. Racing was abandoned during the pre-start of the second race as a windshift made it one tack to the top mark.

Current weather is 24C, sunny, and 4 knots of wind from the south-southwest, swinging to the northwest and back to the southeast... This has led to a postponement again after Flight 6. Another club has a race starting, so the Omega Auckland Match Racing will start again after 3pm.

RR2 Flight 6
Jablonski beat Holmberg by 2m 22s
Barker beat Bruni by 1m 38s
