The 2010 420 Class National Championships are set to go at Murrays Bay between 25th and 28th January. This year new comers are invited to take part with the introduction of a Restricted Fleet where spinnakers and trapezes are not permitted.
In a move to encourage more sailors into the class the Association has introduced the new “Restricted Fleet” competition which will start a day later than the Open Fleet, running from 26th-28th January. Any age or combination is welcome, races will be separate from the Open Fleet and entrants can expect to do three races on each of the three days of competition. Standard 420 sails or Teams Racing sails can be used.
